Perceptionismis a pretty basic concept, and goes something like this.
Everything we (sentient beings) experience in our lives (period of sentience) is entirely related to our perception of those things. The actual events and actions could be something completely unrelated to what we perceive is going on.
In which case, is our reality really what's going on? Or are we just distorting things to suit?
And if you follow that further, are our delirious moments really the exception to the rule? Maybe they're the real reality, and we're just out of our skulls most of the time?
